Mac Display
HDMI 1 output is from HOST 1 system, HDMI 2+HDMI 3+DP are from HOST 2 system, and due to the bandwidth limitation, the resolution all become 1080P. Only supports M1 MAX/M1 PRO chip series notebook computers, not support M1 chip series notebook computers 13-in MacBook Air(M1 2020)/13-in MacBook Pro(M1 2020)/Mac mini(M1 2020). For DP1.4 laptops:
Single Monitor Output: HDMI1/HDMI2/DP = 8K@30Hz/4K@120Hz
Dual monitors Output : HDMI1 + HDMI2 = 4K@60HZ + 4K@60HZ; HDMI1/HDMI2 + DP = 4K@60HZ + 4K@60HZ
Three monitors Output: HDMI1 + HDMI2 + DP = 4K@60Hz + 4K@30Hz + 4K@30Hz
(Ensure that your laptop and monitor are compatible with 8K/4K display and DP 1.4 protocol; otherwise, achieving 8K@30Hz/4K@60Hz will not be possible.)
For DP1.2 laptops:
1. Single Monitor Output = 4K@30HZ
2. Dual monitors Output = 4K@30HZ + 4K@30HZ
(Can’t support 3 monitors when your laptop is with DP1.2)
*NOTE*:When mirroring under the Windows system, the resolution of the monitors will always be the same as the laptop.
Mac OS Display
Mac OS doesn’t support MST.
Mirror mode support for AA, AAA, and AAAA
Extended mode support for AB, ABB, ABBB, does not support AABC, ABCD
For DP1.4 laptops:
Single monitor output: HDMI1 / HDM2 / DP = 4K@60HZ
Dual monitor output: HDMI1 + HDM2 = 4K@60HZ + 4K@60HZ; HDMI1 / HDM2 + DP = 4K@60HZ + 4K@60HZ
Three monitor output: HDMI1 + HDM2 + DP = 4K@60HZ + 4K@60HZ + 4K@60HZ
(Be sure your host laptop supports 4K display and DP 1.4 protocol or you will not get 4K@60HZ).
For DP1.2 laptops
1. Single monitor output = 4K@30HZ
2. Dual monitor output = 4K@30HZ + 4K@30HZ
3. Triple monitor output = 4K@30HZ + 4K@30HZ + 4K@30HZ
